Most CO2 cylinders use a CGA three two zero valve with male threads and a flat sealing surface that requires a CO2 washer.

How do I check for a leak in my CO2 system?

Close the cylinder. Mark the gauge needles. Wait two minutes. Open the cylinder and compare the needles. If the needles moved, spray fittings with a mild soap and water solution and look for bubbles.

My CO2 gauge looks low right after a delivery?

CO2 is filled by weight. Right after filling, the pressure can read near five hundred psi. At about seventy degrees a full cylinder reads about eight hundred psi.

What is beer mix gas?

Beer mix gas is a blend of nitrogen and CO2. A common blend is seventy five percent nitrogen and twenty five percent CO2. This blend is often used for import and craft beer and for long draw systems to reduce foam.
